Clint Wood brings over 25 years of club management experience, having worked at some of the most prestigious clubs in South Carolina and North Carolina throughout his career. From 2008-2016, he served as General Manager of Old Town Club in Winston-Salem, NC. Under his leadership, Old Town Club put in plans to construct a freestanding fitness facility, renovate the member grill, expand the pool pavilion, and restore the golf course by famed architects Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw. The result of the restoration has propelled Old Town into the top 100 courses in the country as ranked by Golf Magazine. Ranked as the 78th best course in the country, Old Town joins Pinehurst No. 2 and Wade Hampton as the only North Carolina courses to make this prestigious list.

Prior to serving as General Manager at Old Town, Mr. Wood served as Assistant General Manager at Myers Park Country Club in Charlotte, NC. Earlier in his career, he served in leadership roles at Country Club of Charleston, Carolina Country Club, and Chapel Hill Country Club. Mr. Wood has been very involved in local and national levels of the CMAA. In 2015, he served as President of the Carolinas Chapter of the CMAA. In 2014, Mr. Wood was recognized for his outstanding leadership and performance by being voted the Club Manager of the Year in the Carolinas. He has served as a mentor to many in the industry, and he has a passion for developing young managers and connecting them to the right positions to thrive and be successful.

Mr. Wood graduated with a bachelor’s degree from North Carolina State University. He is a Certified Club Manager, Certified Chief Executive, and a Member of The Honor Society of the Club Managers Association of America.
